Emily M. Haff Owner, La Petite Fleur Specialty: Wedding & Special Event Flowers |
As owner of La Petite Fleur, florist extraordinaire Emily Haff, believes that anything you imagine can be created. She strives for perfection in every arrangement—ensuring rich color and texture in each landscape. Emily enjoys collaborating with clients to come up with custom designs that fit both their unique personality and the style of their special event.
Schooled in Interior Design at the Interior Designers Institute on the West coast, Em came back East in 2002 to open a high-end boutique specializing in home accessories, gifts, tabletop and flowers called Sweet Magnolia. Emily became reacquainted with the flowers she loved so much as a child shortly after the shop opened. She started playing with flowers and incorporating them into arrangements in different containers. And soon after she got the ‘flower bug’ she became passionately involved in arranging bouquets and centerpieces. It wasn’t long before word got out of Emily’s keen eye for color and detail. The phone began ringing off the hook and her flower business blossomed into weddings and special events.
After a successful run with Sweet Magnolia in Glenside, Emily launched the idea of a full service florist complete with wedding and special event planning services. Through the new location, Em teams up with her colleagues to bring her clients, not just amazing florals, but other essential services as well.
Emily enjoys many different hobbies, which co-exist well with her love of botanicals. She is a collector of antique clothing, furniture and kitschy appliances. She enjoys weekends in New York for design inspiration. When Em isn’t working or dreaming of her next floral creation, she enjoys painting the town with her own little flower, daughter Ella May.
